How long have you been with the company?
Since day one (2015).
What does your role involve day to day?
Working with key accounts and the management team to set priorities that support Sol’s long-term growth.
What’s your favourite part of the job?
The challenge of closing deals and finding weird and wonderful solutions to go the extra mile as a distributor.
What’s one skill you’re known for at work?
Forward buying currency.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Playing golf and getting back into the gym.

Tea – Yorkshire Tea all day.
One fun fact about you
I used to be a football referee until I stopped after refusing a very late midweek game.

How long have you been with the company?

What does your role involve day to day?
Part of the management team at Sol, Assisting the sales team with pricing and ordering info, processing all orders including receiving and shipping all kit.
What’s your favourite part of the job?
I get to travel and meet new people.
What’s one skill you’re known for at work?
DIY
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Spending time with my family, being outdoors, walking and hiking with the dog, kayaking, I also enjoy a good bit of DIY.

What does your role involve day to day?
As Sales Manager at Sol Distribution, my day-to-day role focuses on driving revenue growth, managing customer relationships, and leading the sales function to achieve our commercial targets.
What’s your favourite part of the job?
Speaking with new, existing customers, and developing strong relationships.
What’s one skill you’re known for at work?
Golf
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Spending quality time with my family.

How long have you been with the company?
Started as a self employed bookkeeper one day a week in 2018 then joined full time in 2024
What does your role involve day to day?
Sending invoices, paying suppliers, checking new customer credit limits, day to day bookkeeping, HR
What’s your favourite part of the job?
Getting everything to balance at the end of the month.
What’s one skill you’re known for at work?
Maths & excel
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I have 2 young children so most of my time is spent entertaining them. I do enjoy baking.

What does your role involve day to day?
Work closely with valued reseller accounts to help them maximise the value from the Sol portfolio. Helping the partners with deals and opportunities. Working with vendors to educate partners and existing and new solutions.

Building relations with our valued partners, and learning more about all of the new technology solutions available to us

Experience in communications and networks + WLAN

Travelling. Or running/cycling. Or even better – running/cycling while travelling!
